Accommodation with wine cellar
Our wine cellar is available only for our guests. Wine cellar is located on site and open every evening. We have only wines made from grapes grown in the Czech Republic. You can taste wines from local wineries, subregion Mikulov. The typicall sorts are Welsh and Rhine Riesling, Pálava, Grüner Veltliner, Traminer and Sauvignon. The dominant landmark of the Mikulov sub-region, characteristic and visible from a long distance away, is the limestone massif of the Palava hills. On their slopes and also in the wider surroundings limestone-clay and sandy soils are prevalent, as well as enormous loess drifts.
We recommend to all our guests to visit the Wine Salon of the Czech Republic. In the cellars of Valtice château is the year-round open tasting exhibition of the Wine Salon of the Czech Republic, showcasing the best-rated wines in the National Wine Competition.
